Composer / sound artist

I work with combinations of acoustic instruments and electronic devices, with a focus on custom tuning systems and wonky rhythms. My music was presented a.o. at Mata (New York, US), La Biennale (Venice), London Ear Festival (UK), Unerhörte Musik (Berlin), Sound Plasma (Tallinn), ArteScienza (Rom), Loop (Brussels), (…) in venues from the Miller Theatre (New York) to Piccolo Teatro (Milan), from 104Centquatre (Paris) to Musiikkitalo (Helsinki).

“Solo set” (2017- ongoing) is the electroacoustic and semi-improvised output as a solo performer, where I explore different set ups for each performance, including hybrid analogue-digital instruments, pedals, synths, piezo-electric microphones, midi-controlled solenoids, tactile transducers and tuned feedbacks on membranes or cymbals. Recent projects also include semi-improvised collaborations, e.g. for/with Duo Dubois (saxophone & percussions) and with Ljuba Bergamelli (voice) / Jacopo Cenni (electronics, lights).
